The Bloomington-Normal Pregnancy Resource Center would like to thanks Martin’s Furniture for their donation of beautiful new chairs for the counseling rooms and waiting room of our new, soon to open, Medical Clinic. We would also like to thank Keen Tile for donating the ceramic tile for our new medical clinic and L&P Tile for installing the tile. We would also like to thank the work crews from Heartland Community Church, East White Oak Bible Church, Calvary Baptist Church & First Church of the Nazarene, along with the PRC volunteers for providing labor for our vast improvements here at the PRC. A big thank you also goes out to Zeller Electric for installing all of our electrical work in our new counseling room.

PROJECT ULTRASOUND UPDATE:
Our Ultrasound machine has arrived! On Monday, February 25th, a delivery truck brought the item we have been working so hard to get here. On Tuesday, we scanned our first two clients. What a blessing to visit these two beautiful babies!
The National Institute of Family & Life Advocates (NIFLA) has come to do their legal review, board training & site visit.
Focus on the Family has come to do their site visit, as well as training on client services, marketing & Fundraising.

Remodeling & construction projects are in full swing. Our ultrasound room is ready and we now have a remodeled reception area, waiting room, and a new counseling room. Thank you to volunteer contractors from Heartland Community Church, East White Oak Bible Church and Bloomington Apostolic Christian Church for their help.
Our Nurse Manager and volunteer nurse have been training for over a year now in preparation for our grand re-opening as a medical clinic. They have passed their final training and competency exam with Sonography Now. Congratulations!

Project Ultrasound Needs
- We are currently seeking funding to cover the Nurse Manager’s salary package for three years. We are confident that during this three-year period we will be able to raise the needed income to sustain this salaried position. Abortion Statistics:
Each year, approximately 1 million pregnancies are terminated by abortion in the United States.
· Nearly 50% of pregnancies among American women are unintended. Of those women, 40% choose to have an abortion.
· At current rates, more than 43% of American women will have at least one abortion by the age of 45.
· 48% of women aged 15-44 who had abortions in the U.S. had at least one previous abortion.
· Black women are almost 4 times as likely as white women to have an abortion, and Hispanic women are 2.5 times as likely.
