Banquets
Each fall, our centers host Fundraising Banquets. We bring in fascinating speakers and share a great meal, with the goal of raising funds for the next year's ministry. This is a fundraising event, but we would love for you to see the many ways you can be involved - from hosting a table and inviting your friends to fill it, by simply attending the event, or maybe by underwriting part of the cost so we can invite more people to come and be a support to the ministry.
Walk For Life
The concept behind this fundraiser is simple. You believe in what we do, so you find people to pledge for you to walk on a given day. Those who pledge, give to Living Alternatives. There are often prizes for walkers, as well as the fun of fellowshipping with supporters from other local churches. This event really helps illustrate that there is ONE church in each town, but many fellowships, and that those fellowships are unified in Christ. Sanctity of Human Life
January is Sanctity of Human Life month. We have a passion to really help people understand the theology of life. Each center will be doing a local event in January of 2011 to promote the importance of this month. See what the center in your community will be doing by clicking the link above!
Other Upcoming Events
Some of our centers host other events throughout the year as well. In fact, we've even had supporters of our PRCs throw events for us. These have ranged from worship nights to concerts to - well, just about anything. Through our events, we hope more people come and hear about the ministry of Living Alternatives and get on board with our mission. Check out the link above to see a list of these other events.
