I didn’t hear about it until my sister said something to the fact that there was actually a place that will help young women out. When I went for my first visit, I took a free pregnancy test and it was positive. I was a little scared, but they helped me through it. I started meeting with a counselor and we got to know each other really well. It was nice to have someone to care about me and my baby.
The PRC is a place where you can join a program called Earn While You Learn. Earn While You Learn allows you to read and watch movies about having a baby and parenting. Then you complete worksheets to earn points. You can then redeem the points for things you need for your baby, like baby beds, clothes and diapers. The program helps me when money is tight. The thing I like the best is after every meeting at the PRC, my counselor prays with me for anything I want to pray about. It’s really good that they keep you involved with God.
The PregnancyResourceCenter is a really good place to be involved with. They help me mentally and spiritually. To the people who help me at the center-I just want to say Thank You for everything and God Bless You.”
