Kankakee Medical Conversion

The Pregnancy Center of Kankakee is planning to become a medical facility offering limited obstetrical ultrasound services for clients who qualify. The process is now underway. In May, two of our nurses completed their ultrasound competency training. We are now waiting to solitify our OB consultant and make final accommodations to begin ultrasound services. We are also looking for volunteer nurses who have a heart for this ministry.

Rock For Life

This is our annual fall fundraiser. Those who participate will form teams and together will raise money for the event. On the day of the Rock, each team member will choose a time slot to fill their team's rocking chairs so that each team will have people continuously rocking.

The event will include food, entertainment, and prizes. The Rock will be held on September 18th at the Kankakee Civic Auditorium. If anyone is interested in being a team captain, contact us at the center or email us at k3hope@gmail.com. Mark the date on your calenders and look for more information as we get closer to fall!

Phone Fund Fundraiser 

This summer we will be collecting old and unwanted electronics. If you have cell phones, digital cameras, laptops and PDAs that you are no longer using, feel free to send them in to the center. You will be helping us raise money and will be benefitting the environment in the process! If you are interested in obtaining a collection box to place at a church or business, or for a group project email us at k3hope@gmail.com and we will provide you one along with more information about the fundraiser. 

Be in Prayer

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind." -James 1:5-6

Let us come before the throne of grace with FAITH and BOLDNESS knowing that the Lord hears us and works His justice and mercy for His people!

First, let us as a community of believers be in constant prayer against abortion.
Let us pray to see the end to this fight.
Let the truth of how God treasures each life and has a purpose for each of His children be made known to the nations.
Let us pray about how we as individuals can join in the fight against abortion.
Let us pray for each man and women who at this very moment is facing the decision of abortion.
Let us pray for those who are healing from the affects of abortion.
Let us pray that the body of Christ would unite under the power of the Holy Spirit to uproot abortion.

For the PRC:
**Pray that the staff and volunteers would be obedient to the Lord and would fearlessly proclaim the Gospel to all who enter the center. Pray that we would receive all strength, wisdom, compassion, and peace in the constant battle against the evil one so that the lives of the unborn and the souls of the lost may be saved!

**Pray for the Lord to provide an OB consultant for our medical conversion.

**Pray for the Lord to be speaking to those who will be needed as volunteer nurses once the PRC goes medical.

**Pray for the new Life Support donor team and the changing financial needs of the PRC. 

**Pray for the upcoming Rock for Life fundraiser in September.
