The staff of the Bolingbrook & Joliet PRCs have seen the needs of women in Will County and felt God's call to open a PRC Medical Clinic, using medical services and ultrasound to help women. Medical services will include pregnancy testing and sonograms - all at no cost to the patient.
We have relocated to a more central location in Will County.
We will continue to serve women in Bolingbrook & Joliet, as well as reach out to other communities in Will County that are without a pregnancy Center.
Our nurses have begun their ultrasound training and our building is being remodeled in preparation for this conversion.

Client Story:
When my husband and I found out we were having a baby, it was a dream come true. Our thoughts were filled with ten little fingers and ten little toes for months. In the quest to provide the best beginnings for our daughter, we hit some road blocks on the way, causing us to make a difficult decision that I would leave my job. With one income, we struggled and lacked the opportunity to provide for our daughter in the way we had planned.
In a moment of desperation I came across the Pregnancy Resource Center. It was truly the light at the end of the tunnel. Through participation in the parenting program and conversations with the staff, I was able to not only receive help but also become a better mother. The parenting education progam affirmed the parenting skills I already had and helped me grow in areas that I was unfamiliar with or needed assistance in.
I cannot say anything in print that would give enought thanks to the PRC for what they have done for us. Not only have I become a better mother but I am humbled by the love and guidance that they have shown me.
-Betsy

From a client:
The Pregnancy Center has really been a BIG help for me in so many ways. Not only have they helped me by giving me things I needed for my kids, but they have given me so much attention when I really needed them for counseling and questions bout what to do in certain situations. The Pregnancy Center has changed my life in the best way possible. I love everyone there and I wish them all the best.

All for ADOPTION
As a pro-life organization, we at Living Alternatives are all for adoption. Would you agree it's a great option? If so, would you be willing to "ADOPT" a bill or expense for the PRC? This could include a monthly utility (one month or more--you pick the time), a purchase of the New Testaments in English or Spanish, purchase of Pregnancy Tests, a case of Copy Paper (these could be one time, or for an entire year). Contact us for more info.

Another Way You Can Help...
Would you like to become involved in helping the PRC, but don't really have time to make a weekly commitment as a volunteer?
If you are an active member of a church you can become a much-needed "Church Liaison!" Your assignment would be to keep your Pastor and church family informed and connected to the ministry at the Pregnancy Resource Center.

|
We supply the bottle--you supply the change!
This little fundraising effort is called “CHANGE FOR LIFE.” By supporting the PRC in this way you are helping to change, or maybe even save, a life! In either case, your donation helps to keep our doors open for those young women who would come.
There is no limit to the amount of decorated baby bottles you can have to fill with your spare change. (Cash and checks are okay too)! One at home and one at work is a great idea!

Thank you
Several churches & groups supported the center in different ways--often keeping the shelves stocked. Needless to say, it is a blessing to be able to help meet the needs of the many clients seen each month--but it is an even bigger blessing for the moms and babies who receive the donations!
A HUGE and VERY SINCERE "THANK YOU" to the pastors, leaders, church families and other individuals at:
Thanks to Newborns In Need in Bolingbrook, an organization of volunteers who have hand made many lovely items for our babies, including blankets, sweaters, hats, booties, layettes and much more over the years.
Thank you to the Ladies of the Bolingbrook PEO group, who made up lovely gift bags full of useful pampering goodies for our moms.
Thank you to Messiah Lutheran in Joliet for the gift bags they donated from their annual "Baby Jesus Tree" at Christmas.
Also to Carter's in Bolingbrook & Orland Park who have generously donated their "charity" to the center for several years now. The clients are so blessed to receive new, quality items from those donations.
Holy Spirit Catholic Community in Naperville for the best Change For Life baby bottle fundraiser yet! Your generosity mirrors the love of Jesus for LIFE--His gift to us! Thanks to all those on the Respect Life Committee who worked so hard to organize and carry out the drive, and those who participated!! God bless your pro-life hearts!
St. Joseph's school in Joliet, who donated many, many Christmas bags of clothing, baby toiletries, diapers and wipes. What a blessing!
Christ Community Church in Plainfield for the very successful Change for Life baby bottle drive done by their women's Bible study group - as well as their VBS group for gathering so many "baby blessings" for the PRC again this year.
New Song Church in Bolingbrook. The Children's Rock Club offered a Spaghetti Dinner to benefit the PRC. A young man from the Senior High Group organized a concert, charging at the door to on behalf of the center. The Children's Learning Center's Vacation Bible School used the "Change For Life" baby bottle fundraiser to collect throughout the week. Also thank you to the women's ministry for throwing a baby shower for the PRC.
Love Fellowship Baptist Church in Plainfield for collecting an abundance of baby items products at a "Baby Shower" they held.
Jubilee Baptist in Bolingbrook for supporting their Mission Team, who had a month long baby shower collection for the PRC.
Calvary Church of Naperville whose MOMS (mentoring) group donated decorated "Shoe Boxes of Blessings," filled with much needed baby items.
HURRAY for 1st through 5th graders at BJ Ward elementary school in Bolingbrook for a fantastic "Penny Drive!" Thanks to them for picking the PRC to receive their donation, and the PTO who sponsored.
Thanks to the church family at Independent Baptist for the big bags of gently used clothing they brought to the center!
Knights of Columbus and the St. Francis church family in Bolingbrook for the recent baby item drive done to benefit our clients, and for the much needed financial blessing.
Thanks to the CCW of St. Scholastica Church in Woodridge for filling baby bottles, cashing the change in, and sending a generous check in support of this ministry
Alpha Missionary Baptist (Bolingbrook) for distributing the baby bottles to their VBS children to fill with their change (kids really enjoy helping out this way)! Special thanks to Pastor Bill Rorer who repeatedly fills his own bottle with change for the PRC.
